We just got new business cards from our printing company.  I look through them to make sure they are good before reporting to my boss that they have arrived and I notice a little detail on one pack.

One set of the cards has my name on it.  And I'm listed as 'Senior Technical Analyst'.   

Woo hoo! I have my own business cards!  And I have a title!  The title means absolutely jack squat because I also happen to be the only 'technical analyst' as well as only person in the shop 90% of the time, but woo!  Title!

It's the simple things.

Just back from the snowdown, was awesome even if it was hella cold and windy at times, I feel properly tired now :D

Also seeing the sea trough a damn blizzard is a very awesome sight, too bad I didn't have a camera handy, there was plenty of stuff to point it at :(

FF13-2 is out? I had no idea it's done already. Doesn't matter though I dont even have PS. Playing civ II again, Zulus keep owning me as always. I never got into the never ones.  :P

Went to the Olive Garden last night with a buddy. This review* seems a pretty accurate description of the experience in every way, except that the wine is not quite that absurdly cheap (you'll see that mentioned in part 2), and the breadsticks are decent and the rest of the food was entirely edible, with the exception of the salads. Apparently soup refills are free? Madness! Acceptably flavored madness.

Soup and breadsticks is all I go to Olive Garden for. Once you've had like four bowls of soup (Zuppa Toscana is yum), and enough breadsticks to build a small fence with, it's a pretty good deal for the money.

But then, when kale is in season at our produce co-op I just make the soup at home.

Someone's coming over to buy my old turntables and mixer today!!!
yay for unloading old equipment
although I bought them for 200 each 5 years ago and 100 for the mixer and selling it all for 200 (300 dollar loss)  it's better than them just sitting there collecting dust.
and I have new turntables now, well I got them like a year ago, technics (400 dollars each) and a djm-1000 mixer (300 dollar piece of equipment).
But I don't throw raves anymore or really dj that much anymore, except when I'm bored.  Maybe I should just sell it all.
