I think I have discovered a fundamental truth of cooking. Throw a bunch of vegetables together, then saute them. You literally cannot go wrong, as long as you do it in an order which renders them all soft at the end without being burnt. We have to use the word "vegetable" in the strict sense, so that your various fruits, grains, legumes, and the like that masquerade as vegetables in the supermarkets so very often aren't included. I can think of a few of those that would not work well here, but given that restriction and that you actually like all of the constituents on their own, I think this is a legitimate generalization.

Okay, backups completed. Newest version of Ubuntu is downloading. Soon, by which I mean Friday, I will embark on a journey of desktop-based OS shenanigans. If running Windows and Linux simultaneously retains enough performance to run Portal 2 on its highest settings on the Windows install, then I will retain the arrangement - otherwise, I'll switch back to Windows because I gotta play all my new Steam games somehow.

Hopefully Microsoft doesn't decide to flip out and decide my CD key for Windows is no longer valid. They probably will, and then several hours of tech support or somesuch rot. Still, maybe not. Hope! That is key!

Instead of waking up at 5:30 and heading to school an hour later, I can wake up at 6:00 and head to school two hours and thirty minutes later, giving me plenty of time to dick around on the internet.
