La-Mulana music works surprisingly well with Doom.  Makes an interesting compliment to the arcane levels of Eps 2 and 3, especially when they're covered in blood.

Putting ALL of my music on shuffle as I wander around Oblivion has been really effective lately, what with all the coincidences. Seriously, I keep getting the best music. Separate Ways while slaying velociraptors in Kvatch, the shooting gallery theme from Ocarina of Time while running backwards shooting at bandits, the Pink Panther techno remix while snooping around, and random Audiomachine when I get into fights. The Fire Temple ambiance while I was exploring a haunted crypt was not appreciated, however.

Nice. I have some fond memories of listening to some relaxing Mozart while plowing through Diablo2 on a 56k modem.

Today I played Feist and Bon Iver while getting back into self-training martial arts. I will learn more spinning jumpkicks and flips.

Had a good dance session after. Now I just need to clean! One of my friends I haven't seen in years is crashing over the weekend for this giant music festival in the city. I just have to clean the place up for her >.>

My Oma apparently says my German is very impressive, and I have a "better" (read: posher) accent than she does o_O

Also, I took my evening walk and cleaned everything up, so now I just have to do some essay-writing and vocabulary memorization, and I can go to bed.  I shall wake up and go eat breakfast outside, and drink my tea.  And then, because I will have no work to do before I have to go to school, I can study some Russian and start in on the Bible.  And wash my hair, and dress up a little (part of the "remain Vector but stop the unwashed nerd thing" project).

Hey, this is pretty exciting!  I feel better already!

Made more progress in Magicka solo. Made it to Ch. 12 (from Ch. 9, I think) so far. Having trouble with some yetis however. Damn Skifree reference. Even worse when many are surrounding you and they 1-hit kill you.

Maybe I am a bit too hardcore after all, since I had almost no problem with the previous levels and the bosses in them. At least undead couldn't touch me at all through an entire level.

Well, the intro ones I can get past. But some others tend to come out of nowhere. I'll stick to spawning a local standard shield and just beef it up, since I can do that quickly. I can charge faster than they can hit/damage, and I also know how to attack through my shield (and others') as well. My Death Star routine (healing shield glacial ring + Arcane Death glacier) also seems rather reliable, as long as I'm not surrounded (standard shield then would take place).

Those yetis are definitely tough for anyone.  Use rock + shield to make a half shield of rock in front of you to distract them, then attack away with your favorite spell.
