EDIT: While searching for "zombie contingency plans", I stumbled across this article in Archaeology magazine, a very mainstream and respected journal that I used to subscribe to. I'm sorely tempted to get another subscription just because of this article.

I tried going action movie hero during my training sessions. Even with helicopter training. Apparently they frown upon attempting barrel rolls with choppers while shooting down tanks. That, and also doing a practice field op against a simple squad, I got crushed between a rock and a hard place to reach on the humvee when trying to eject out of it and guide it towards said squad entering the range. Ouch.

Incidentally, I ran 1 of 3 troops down with the humvee before getting wedge-crushed. Close, but it only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades (which I wish I used as well).

Personally, what I truly aspire to pulling off is going full-on Brock Samson on a mission. IE- Destroying every car but my own in the driving test, refusing to use firearms in combat, and for written portions, answering with a picture of Icarus from Led Zepplin. Or simply being written off as a breach to the Geneva Convention just by signing up for the armed forces.

The helicopter training in ARMA 1 would always fuck up for me.  The instructor and I would get it, and he'd tell me to power up and take off, but as soon as my skids left contact with the ground, I counted as leaving the training zone.  And the instructor would yell at me and make us respawn.
