Have you released the particular piece to the unforgiving grasp of the Internet? If not/not possible, what sort of work is it? I've been itching to be all well rounded and cultured, and I'd love to make an ass of myself in an art discussion  :D.

Retaining my lead in Super Meat Boy. Managed to complete all Rapture levels (Except The Kid and the glitch level) and another 2 Cotton Alley levels I didn't expect to beat. And for the sheer hell of it, I took on a God-Tier user-made custom level (or 2), and with enough effort, managed to beat them A+ by half a second (one of them first time post-completion twice in a row, once I saw the pattern to follow). After taking on that level, I think the rest should be much less of a problem. On that note, I breached the 4000 ranking benchmark. I love this game. Great stress reliever.

It's just a crappy phone pic, but I seem to have misplaced my SD card for my camera, so that's what you get.

I just got back from a track meet which I helped win. I had an okay mile, at 5:03, but what makes this happy thread material is the 2 mile. (3200m) I took second place with 10:49, my first 3200 under 11 minutes. 15 second personal record, here. (Roughly 1/2 a second off per 100 meters)

There were four people that had a possibility of placing in the top three; myself, two other kids from my team, and one from the opposing team. The guy from the opposing team was supposed to be faster than me, entered at 10:55 so I thought I was pretty well out of the running. *rimshot* Suddenly, my teammate that could have easily won the race was pulled out by my coach because of a terrible blister acquired earlier during the mile. Now, this would mean that the opposing guy might win, scoring 5 points to our 3 and 1. The kid that dropped out pulled me aside five minutes before the race and said, "[Barbarossa], you have to beat that guy. We're tied with them and we have to get more points than them in this event. It's the last one scored." Needless to say, there was a lot of pressure and motivation. The first three laps were at 5 minute mile pace, as he tried to shake me. (I didn't even run one of those earlier) I struggled on until the 7th lap when I passed him about halfway through. At the beginning of the 8th and final lap, I sprinted past him. I thought he was tired, judging by his horrendous breathing noises, but he chased after me the entire time and I ran my last lap in 1:05, an absolutely ridiculous pace. I almost passed out at the end, but we won.

Only later did the dropout friend tell me we were actually up by 56 points. Bastard. Good idea, though.

5:-3 for the mile is pretty awesome too. I salute you.

Also, saturday morning breakfast cereal makes me happy.
