I'm a short, stocky, bearded man with a love of strong drink and would be incredibly useful at either a trade depot or with a sword (or axe) in my hand. You do the math. :P

I'm taking a geology class.  Every time I hear the words diorite, andesite, intrusive/extrusive igneous rocks, gabbro, etc. I think of Dorf Forts.  Microcline hasn't come up yet, thankfully.

Just wait until the Orthoclase jumps out and pokes you in the eye.  Toady even confirmed it as the most annoying of all stones in his Scamps' Adventure teaser thing back when.

Holy crap, Google turned up an entire photo gallery dedicated to Orthoclase and Microcline.  Truly a match made in Heaven.  Or the Pits.
