I can't believe how quick I got it done, but I'm just about done refining the Bloodfist Minecreaft schematic. Stairways are designed how they would/should work, and also follow DF physics. Watch your step on them, especially the up/down ones; there's no center column, so you can fall indefinitely (they are also perfectly stackable divisibly by 3 or 6 (6 tiles upward is a full cycle with half-blocks). The statues look pretty neat too. Made good use of the vanilla graphics set (Jack-o-lantern head, gold/silver body, lightstone chestpeice/beard, half-block arms and feet; all crammed in a 3x3x3 block). I also remodeled the ballistae to look more functional, as well as use redstone and a dispenser filled with 64x9 (576) arrows, which is also remodeled in a way that you can see what you're shooting at, with a limited height of 3 blocks (exploited more room with half-blocks); you can also reload it too, and the button is placed where it looks like you're loading it before firing. For aesthetic effect, I've added some lanterns on the exterior (wood half-block with a lightstone suspended at the end).

Now all that remains is to clean up the emblem (so far, it's still duo-tone, but I'll add another shade per-color) and place some cakes on the tables, and place some switches and levers and etc on the tables in the bridges, and we're set for upload.

Of course, all updated portions of the ship will be made available like the last version. That includes the stairways, propellers, ballistae (batteries and ammo included), statues (gold and silver), as well as the updated emblem and individual boilers. Lanterns would be unecessary since they're made mostly of only 2 pieces.

EDIT:
Yep. Version 1 is still available for download. Version 2 is what I'm working on. After that, I might take a bit more time working on 2.5 which is essentially a version that doesn't follow the 3x3x3 DF tile rules, so an HD version of it, so to speak (may involve some tile overlapping, especially with the ramps). I only allowed a few exceptions regarding lanterns since they wouldn't be doing as much alteration where they are placed.

There will also be some smoothing of the overall hull as well as well as some support bands (like a barrel or juggernaut).

(Taking a break from working on it for now)

EDIT EDIT:
Spoiler: Here are some samples: (click to show/hide)
I've tried making an automatic option, but I'm not familiar enough with redstone to get it down correctly, so it's semi-automatic.

EDIT EDIT EDIT:
Not until I used MCEdit, and went to the farthest reaches of the map rendered (out of curiosity), did I realize just how damn big this ship is. See it settled on the horizon from a mountain (furthest visible range, pretty much), it will still take you up to (half) a day to travel to it on foot.

It's known as the Oppai-Kaiju effect. The islands of Japan generate a sort anti-gravity field, which allows breasts to behave as if in microgravity. It's also what allows Godzilla and friends to become 50 stories tall, and lets ninjas run up the side of a skyscraper.

We are having turkey tonight...

My dad is cooking it normally... BESIDES APPLYING A BLOWTORCH PART WAY THROUGH.

Seems he finally took my 'use a flamethrower!' advice.

I just spent the better part of 5 hours at a friend of the family's house. Said friend happened to own 44 acres of land, most of which was a gravel mine at one time. Ensue DF inspired geology geekout when I found a basketball sized rose quartz, alon gwith various other interesting things, like a few fist sized chunks of shale and various pieces of iron ore of some kind. He let me take home over 50 lbs of stones to analyze, including the quartz.
