I guess it's because I didn't backtrack to one of the earlier labs and use the secret decoder thing to to get whatever was hidden behind a door. I still have a USB in my inventory as well. I might as well buy loads of useless crap as well to level my cash load as well.

The related scientific journal, in which this conclusion was reached, is here. This is actually pretty exciting stuff. I do believe I see a fruiting body, filaments, and a cell in mid-division, in the electron micrograph. If this is supported by secondary studies, then we may have reasonably strong evidence for the Panspermic origin of life on Earth!

Okay, now I know I beat STALKER for real.

I backtraced in 2 places, first was back at the place before Pipryat, and after not getting a hint checking out those ruins, I reloaded before I came into contact with the Wish Granter, and cleaned out the place, and end that voice once and for all. Found the hidden door nonchalantly hidden by a barrel. That caught the corner of my eye while cleaning up CPP.

I purged the secret lab of pests, and took out the core, only to learn it wasn't the real core, and it ejected me back outside. I went through the CPP (Chernobyl Portal Plaza this time), found an exo-suit and then really devastated the Monolith (which I assume is named after the Wish Granter artifact, considering it looks like one), made my way to the last gate, and destroyed the C-Consciousness.

I am f***ing done. Yes.

I can see why you said I still had another 30-45 minutes to go.

Wish Granter is just a trap, isn't it? I mean, even C-C says so. Plus, I figured it was a fake ending anyway. It was too easy.
