Things that made me happy today: My sister, who's back in town from college, made cookies. THEY ARE ORGASMIC.

No matter how many ways I look at this, no matter how evasive I can make my logic, I still cannot interpret that in a non-disturbing way.

I know this is really late and we already passed this topic like a week ago, but I still have to say it:

Tim and Eric Awesome Show Great Job is the best thing Adult Swim has ever aired (King of the Hill excluded, but I really don't understand why they have that.  It doesn't fit with the rest of their stuff)

King of the Hill is the sort of dry, sarcastic social commentary that made the Old Guard of cartoon shows awesome, back before stuff turned into the crap. You don't get stuff quite like that anymore.

Anywho, Livestreaming in a few this afternoon! It'll either be Ecco the Dolphin 2, Dragon Age, or... something else!

I beat Dragon Age:

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Also, it's hard to play as an evil guy.  I'm really trying but every fiber of my being is fighting back against the evil dialog options and if I'm not careful I'll instinctively say something nice.  It doesn't help that a lot of the "evil" dialog is more like "total jackass" dialog.

Ah ok, I wish I had a good enough computer to play that game properly >_> tried putting some mods onto it and playing but it was too much and my comp actually died and required some coaxing to get back up again.

Oh hum.

Oddly enough I use to beable to play Oblivion on this computer, now when I try to I can't anymore and it crashes at startup. The only thing I can think of is that this computer has occasionally crashed hard enough over the years to need taking into the computer shop to get fixed, so I'm thinking its software related, and as far as I can recall/know theres been no hardware changes since I last played and now. Well maybe the external casing... when was that changed...?

Maybe there's some detritus left in your oblivion folder from a previous installation that's causing issues.  I've had that before.

So the same thing as Mass Effect?

So the same thing as Mass Effect?

And in every other such game. Every one has only a "Prick" dialogue option, not an outright "Evil" make-a-daycare-center-slash-kindergarten-and-brainwash-kiddies-into-being-your-faithful-henchman thing.

It doesn't help that a lot of the "evil" dialog is more like "total jackass" dialog.

Bioware still sucks at evil.  Imagine that.  :P

They pretty much write only three options for the player:  Saint, Mercenary, and Card-Carrying Supervillain.
