Each expansion faction was overpowered.
Necrons and Tau could curbstomp anything else in Dark Crusade, and now Sororitas are the game-breaker.
No one even tries to play Dark Eldar lest the tide of GTFO start. For instance D.E. jump infantry are impossible to catch and bog down, not to mention what you can do with a Dias and Rekindle Rage. It's not even considered a playable faction by many.
