I wasn't aware there was a Fallout 4 out, just Fallout 3 and the similarly named but different game Fallout 3: New Vegas.

 On paper it works great, but monitors are hell on your eyes when you do that. Normally I don't think monitors hurt your eyes that much, but this probably does.

Doesn't hurt my eyes any more than a paper stereogram.
Can't do Magic Eye on a monitor, though.

My bass stopped working, so I opened it up and was inspecting the electronics.
The problem: battery was dead.

That reminds me of my first week of university, when a friend of mine was fiddling with his printer. He wanted to insert a paper in place of the color ink cartridge, which he had lost, or something, so that the printer could work (it didnt work leaving it empty). He closed the case after doing that, and hit the power button. Nothing happened. A grim of dismay came to his face as he said "It doesn't work" (but the tone and the face showed that what he was thinking was "ZOMG I broke my printer!"). And then my glorious moment: pointing at the power cord which was loose along the floor.

I was just overanalysing it.
I opened up the back and checked the various connections, loosened the strings so I could check the connections of the pickups.
And then it was a dead battery.
So I guess I should add 'check batteries' before 'check connections' to my flowchart of 'how to fix electronics before flipping the fuck out.'

I am so glad I bought this ratchet screwdriver.
I can't imagine jobs like this without such an amazing tool.

Heh, digging around for a screw I dropped, I found my miniature plastic Arab head.
Awesome.
