Made burgers today, and everyone found them at least "acceptable". Good enough for me to be happy about it.

My god.  Something happened over the past few days and suddenly everything I've been cooking is actually EDIBLE.

This is so cool!  I'm not getting chills and stomachaches from food poisoning anymore!  My body can actually keep itself warm!

...Vector, if you'd like some information on a particular foodstuff or recipe or handling of an ingredient (that one's the most important one), please don't hesitate to ask. I may not have a culinary education, but the shtick at my sports bar (once the owner figured out how much I like to research stuff) when I lived in NY was that you could come in and order anything, and I'd make it (so long as I a] could hijack someone's wifi and b] was given enough time to procure the ingredients and make the dish. No lobster dishes in 10 minutes.) There were no promises of it being perfect, but I only had one person leave negative feedback on my cooking over a year and a half. I learned so much from being a kitchen slave at that place it wasn't funny.

Anyway, thank you, RainyMood, for finally, FINALLY helping me put my daughter to sleep tonight.

No problem at all, m'dear. Knowing that anyone is suffering food problems makes me sad, and that really doesn't belong in this thread. Anything I can do to curb that for anyone will make the world a better place.
