I found my old copy of Castlevania: Circle of the Moon today. I started a new game. In magician mode.

I'm walking into the wall of the first save room, and have taped a nickel over the d-pad to keep it like that. I love the Venus/Cockatrice DSS combination, because this gives me experience. I'm just going to let it run for a while. This time Friday, I will be ready to one-shot everything. Except most unique enemies.

I guess what I'm saying is that I'd probably like to visit Ireland, probably stay a couple weeks there... but not live there long-term.

On the other hand, there's all the James Joyce tie-ins... pfff.

I also bought Tenchu 2: Birth of the Stealth Assassins and Tenchu 4: Fatal Shadows.

Even playing a PSX game, it's clear why this series was so awesome. So much depth and just plain old fun. Can't wait to start feeding poisoned rice to guard dogs.
