I must have a music box.
I will purchase a custom movement, and build it myself.
A small box, one that might fit in the palm of your hand, and be concealed easily amidst your trousers.

And Vector made me realise that I'll probably end up with at least three language classes once I get to college.

That far I know 3 languages.
The only one that I'd still like to learn is Latin.

I know about .37 of a language. But you can blame Shakespeare for that.

I know... maybe 3 languages, and bits and pieces of another 12 (though they're all useless things like the Russian word for "hedgehog" or the German for "fainting spells.").  I'd like to learn at least three more in the next little bit.

Fluent in 3, working my way up on a 4th and thinking about a 5th.

If bits and pieces count, then maybe another 3.

You know one slawic language, you know them all (a bit of an overstatement I know).
While driving in the ambulance, we had a yugoslavian patient and I understood everything he said.
Well, there were some gaps in the sentences, but they were manageable.

I can also understand anyone from the czech republic, as long as he is willing to repeat what he is trying to say.

It's a bit tricky with russian though.

Ooh, what do you speak, Nincompoop?

Swedish, English, Korean and French. Thinking about Esperanto.

Knowing a language that's not Indo-European helps out quite a bit. Broadens your horizons and all that.

Texan's a language now?  :P

Ooh, neat.  My main three are English, French, and Japanese, but I've also spent years studying Spanish, Arabic, and Latin ^_^  Not so great at those last ones, though.  I'm hoping to polish them up into semi-proficiency later, but there's more interesting fruit lying around at the moment.

Latin ^_^

I wish they taught Latin here.
And I wish we would change our national language to the language of some nearby country that someone actually knows about. Hell, 50% of the people talk Russian here...
Come to think about it, why did I have to be born here?

My homeland makes me angry. Latin makes me happy. So does Arabic and Polish. And English. My grand grandfather knew a lot of languages, maybe six, including two Arabic ones. And my grand grand grandfather was Prussian. I have blood of an extinct nation.

Edit: Knowing my family is from a lot of different countries makes me happy.
Edit: And when I said my grand grandfather could speak six languages, I meant fluently. 0_o

You're Latvian, right?  What's so bad about that?

You're Latvian, right?  What's so bad about that?
Lithuanian. Bad, BAD economy. Hard language. Prime minister is a dickhead. Chavs on every corner. Hobos on every corner. Poor, POOR music.
Latvians at least manage to stay cool and are more cultured. It's in the national spirit here to be an asshole.

Edit: Also that Polish lady standing in a bus stop yelling "Wilno nasze!". Seriously, this town has been ours for, what,400 years? Get over it.
