It's not that I don't like them, it's that I use too damn many. In fact, I think I have at least one comma in almost every sentence I've written on this forum. One per sentence maximum is what I aim for...

I am happy about my race today. It was a 3-mile course that I finished in 18:03 (A nearly 2.5 minute PR), and I ended up taking 14th overall, out of around 40 people. Of course, the nearly-passing-out bit at the end wasn't as fun.

Wow, added a single 0 to the code, and managed to raise the score from ~1 million to ~4.7 million.
Same seed and everything, just an extra 0 in the code somewhere.

The sample code has the bots depositing 100 energy at a time.
I set it to 1000.
Sure, more bots ended up disabled, but in the end, it's an improvement, and the code can be refined to compensate for the extra loss.
