There are some songs you never forget after hearing them; this is one I just remembered.

This makes me happy in the strangest of ways. His self degradation belies the song's genius.

What makes me happy is that I've just spotted one, or two mistakes in Frelock's PUC RTD. And I'm pretty sure that means I'll get a bonus(es?) of some sort.

Going out to see the Perseid Meteor Shower tonight!

Right now is the best time to see them, if it's dark in your area. You should check out the sky; if you can find a dark location away from lighting, they say they're going to be visible at a rate of 1 per minute. Even in lit areas, the brightest can be seen about every 5. Last chance to see them for a year!

Imagine a cool peice of sky-blue and milk-white marble about 3cm by 2cm and by 0.5cm, containing a tiny 2mm malacolite crystal. Now imagine the miles of metamorphic rock it's embedded in that no pick or chisel will ever touch. Then, imagine that those miles will melt back into their mantle long before any telescope even refracts an image of their planet. The watchers will be so excited to have that image too.
