I think I'm some sort of weaponcrafting madman. I just made 2 virtually unstoppable war machines out of (virtual) Lego. And they're not even built to be mobile yet. At least, it would be a really bad idea to face my machines on foot.

Anyway, I've been watching some TNG episodes. It's my first honest to God introduction to the franchise and I really like it.

As some of you may know, I got in a little trouble with the law some time ago.  I had a tough fight with my useless lawyer when the District Attorney tried to throw a shitfit and triple my debt without reopening the case.  Today I found out the whole thing is paid off.  I can keep more of my pay (hooray), and just a few hours of community service to go and I'll be free and clear.  I should be a little upset that the reason my debt is consider paid is that one of my accomplices coughed up more money (the actual phrase of the restitution office), but I spent a shitload more on aforementioned useless lawyer than he did, so he's got nothing to complain about.

A co-worker at a temp job said his friend got four years in prison for mugging a person for five dollars. He got really upset when I asked if he got to keep the five dollars.
