On the advice of Janet, I just spent five hours playing Silent Hunter 3, which is quite awesome.  I love submarines, I enjoy simulations, and I'm always looking for games where you're the Nazis.  And it's fun!

 Alright, so over the weekend I was sweating because I had like a dozen different math homeworks to finish, a seven page essay due on Wednesday and a 10 page Philosophy paper due Tuesday. I went to class today sweating bullets over completing the work.

 English paper is due next Monday! Huzzah! This gives me enough time to finish my Philosophy paper! And my math crap! And my computer class crap!

Hey.... Go get the Grey wolves mod. No go do it. Really. Seriously it makes everything that much better (Increases load times for Career mode noticeably though).

Also. About the torpedoes. Make SURE you have your bearings at a reasonable angle to the ship you're targeting.

ARRRGG, the FileFront hosting is screwed up or something, and won't initiate.  Every other website I try to find the torrent on just redirects me around to another torrent tracking site, or some members-only data dump I've never heard of.  Goddammit, I wanna play this, and I don't want to download 1.5 gigs in seven installments.  Stupid Internet, why is nothing ever easy?

In other news, I woke up having a lucid dream about submarines.  What makes me happy is that I didn't have a class today, or I would have slept through it.

Yay sub sims. Actually, yay any sims. I miss the days when the air was thick with air combat sims, submarine sims, driving games that didn't require a console, etc.

I still remember the first time I got my hands on a copy of Silent Service. My folks found me at about 7am the next morning, still playing. After about 12 hours straight.

Actually, I just miss the days when I could play ANY game for 12 hours straight.

That game was awesome though, right up until I moved onto Aces of the deep, and now onto Silent Hunter 3.
