It's pretty cool when that happens. This is my first semester ever on anti-depressants and it's downright strange. I mean, I'm still not exactly an exceptional student (consistently getting between 65-75% in one of the toughest marking faculties at this university is fine with me! Beats the 30ies-40ies I was getting before...) but at least I'm getting somewhere now.

Hell, It's 4am, I've been working on this assignment for like 18 hours straight and I've spent less than a quarter of that time screwing around. Used to be roughly the opposite; only 1 quarter of that time spent working. Would never, ever have pulled this off before this semester.

I don't even mind that I've not slept in almost 24 hours! Not that tired tbh, it's no worse than spending a night playing PC games, except it's slightly more sciency and less explodey.

...Christ, I'm even talking to people I've not talked to in like 5-6 years. Who have I become?!

I don't know who this alien is sitting in my body, but he'd better stop hyperventilating at this shocking turn of events soon, and stop posting in threads I shouldn't even want to be looking at, before any last trace of dignity leaves him.

Just gifted a good friend portal for his birthday, its on the 29th, but i gave him it now already because its a long weekend now.
He's an awesome friend, i only met him this year, but now he is certainly my best friend.

Won positively impossible case. Still can't quite believe it or explain exactly how. Nobody wanted this case, nobody. It was like a juvenile game of "not it." Everybody suddenly had something else to do.... Very cute young white girl victim and black boy who ... quite frankly has a very bad attitude and not in a good way. He testifies horribly and the jury hates his guts. For this and other reasons (5th) I told him not to testify. He insisted, which is usually the kiss of death....

Robbery "victim" admitted she made the whole thing up on the stand. All I did was box her in and pick apart her story and this time she folded. Planted her stuff in his bag and called the police on him.... I couldn't tell you why she did it and I'm not entirely sure I could do it again, but .... I dunno. Shit didn't add up. He didn't know what side of a gun the safety is on (left side, as firearms are normally made for right handed people), or how many bullets it held, or if it was a revolver or a(n) (semi)automatic. He didn't know a lot of things I would expect him to if he did it. I wasn't sure if he was just playing stupid or not at first though.

Still wondering about her motive.

If the guy really was a jerk, maybe he was a jerk to her sometime before and she wanted to get back at him.  Also, awesome work Truean for rescuing someone from a fine/jail sentence who didn't deserve it.
