Just dropped my girlfriend off, perfect ending to an anniversary date I kissed her good bye and that exact same moment a giant bolt of lightning hit lighting up the sky enough that it was like having a light near your eye when it's closed.

So I think I'm doing good, first girlfriend and we've been dating a year now with only a couple arguments.

I think I figured out what I like about House of Cards - it's the anti-Code Geass. A loathsome adult incompetently bumbles his way to incredible power by alienating everybody who could possibly help him, before they inexplicably decide that helping him is in their best interests, and all the while he is beset by completely reasonable setbacks arising from his own carelessness, which I feel compelled to cheer even knowing that he will inevitably overcome them with no lasting consequences.
