I live to inspire, Lord Fault.  I think yours are a tad more skillfully executed than mine. :P

I drew a demon.

I'm thinking of eventually using this as a character in Effigies... a demon created as a mockery of an archangel. also, the little purple flame above his head is his soul.

We all know crossbow bolts can hit all sorts of things, but this is the first opportunity for a bolt to pierce someone's soul. Hell yeah.

well, in the next version of DF, souls are actual objects. Perhaps if you alter the body definitions you can specify where one sits on a creature's body.

and then grapple their soul during wrestling.

Cool pheonix. The pink shades bring neon to mind, which is a little weird.

I meant for it to be quite pink...

Though it seems the purples that went with it turned more orange when uploaded....  :-\

Does anybody of our great artists have time for some character drawing? I am in a dire need of some card-like images for the leaders of Arda (Tolkien world), Namely Eorl the Young, Elendil, Elu Thingol and Sauron :).

I need something to pressure me into drawing, but I don't think I'm skilled enough.

I've finally got something.  It's big.
If not, suffice to say he's a modern wizard.  I plan on painting it in photoshop and adding a background - it doesn't have one now because I wanted something a bit wider than what my scanner can scan (size wise).

He looks slightly like a young Ralph Harris, high on something, holding a petrified snake in one hand, a sausage in the other, and also in the grips of a Matrix obsession.

You're onto something.  Author of the book likes the matrix.
