My favourite object is the fan.  In many puzzles the starite can be blown to safety so you can just set off any trap you like.  You can also blow away enemies, weee!

The butterfly level, I just created lots and lots of boats to "push" it downwards until I could finally reach it.

I dropped a rock on it.  Repeatedly.  Then picked it up by hand.

More style points awarded if using complex pulley systems and an anvil...

This guy beat every Scribblenauts level with two items on every level. In fact, he only ever uses three items in total: http://www.gametrailers.com/user-movie/scribblenauts-hcufs/331008?playlist=featured

Has he beaten them all on challenge mode yet? (that is, replayed a level he's already beaten so that he has to come up with three different solutions to win)

Alternately: The Brick Testament. It's a really fun look at what the bible would look like if interpreted literally. With Legos.
Just so I remember

I don't particularly find it all that impressive anyhow.

Meaning that a bit later it becomes much tougher.

Also what is that thing the Wizard uses? I know the ammo restrictions make it nearly useless (DANG those restrictions) but still.

I found my favorite level in this game.

Ancient action level.

The hint is: "For massive damage!" (Sony pun)

I spawned a windmill then a knight, nothing.
Then I gave the knight a lance and horse. He charged the windmill for no reason ;D

He did charge them for a reason: they might be giants!

What happens if you use a regular giant?

Once tried to conquer Earth, and succeeded! Too bad it got really, really boring, really, really fast.

One day, we shall all look back on this, and laugh. Sorry about the face, by the way, and the legs, and the eyes, and the arms. In fact, sorry 'bout the whole body.

There's bound to be some powerful methods to beat most levels in such an open ended game, I guess.

They should make the real starlite immovable... not literally immovable, because you'd want to be able to knock it off the location with a cannon or something. Instead make it immovable by being connected and picked up.
