Poll

How votes work (since I can't delete this poll, I'll use it for something better)

You may only vote for a specific story/game once.
You may vote on as many story/games as you want, as long as you're honest.
A story/game will be added once 6 people vote for it. The number is subject to change.
Once listed, a story/game may be removed by no less than 10 votes. It's doubtful this will occur.
Make sure you don't just vote because it's a person you like writing! Quality is a must.

Battlefailed died (a while ago) and a sequel (Failcannon) has been set up.

Ardentdikes now has 9 votes (counting my). That succession fort truly belongs here. They've lost and managed to reclaim main fort from a deadly rot plague, they've lost and reclaimed it from hordes of goblins. After reading it, you won't ever hesitate what universal solution is. Did I mention that fortress savior has become a murderous psycho and is currently sealed away down there?

Secondly, I'd like to nominate Severedcoils. I'm pretty much surprised it hasn't been mentioned here before.
I sense a new challenge fort idea: 50 consorts!  Gotta please them all!
[/quote]
The only reason this fort was built is luring treacherous nobles out of mountainhomes and disposing them in order to ensure safety of the crown. The consorts however should not be harmed. For how long Zon Rimtarothil simple fisherdwarf that just happened in wrong place in wrong time will be able to keep that arrogant spoilt horde happy?
(It's quite an old story, but looks like it is not dead yet)

By flooding the fort with magma.

That Dwarven Christmas (Uristmas?) thing deserves to be here.  I'll vote for that.  Certain more stuff also should go here, but the dreaded real life sucks away much of my forum time.

I nominate Craftwaters, Dwarven politics at it's finest without hereditary nobles, http://www.bay12forums.com/smf/index.php?topic=75447.0

Flagblinded appears to be an epic. We've mined out an adamantine spire, and come across a stone that isn't even in the raws. anywhere. its awesome.

I nominate the Roll To Roll To Dodge: A Meta-Adventure RTD game.

There needs to be more legendary RTD's and this is shaping up to be an epic so far.

Should Battlefailed be in the Finished/abandoned section? It was finished recently.

I'll give a vote for Ardentdikes. It was after all a very dwarfy way to deal with plague by flooding the fortress with cleansing magma.

I'll vote for it too. Do we still need a synopsis? Uh... (Five abortive tries later... I fail so hard at keeping it short.)

"HELLO, BAY12ERS. I WOULD LIKE TO PLAY A GAME. YES FLESHBAG, WE ARE GOING TO BE PLAYING A VERY SPECIAL GAME OF RTD TODAY."
So far, our party includes an insane troper who has telekinesis and hallucinates ghost pirates with posh British accents and a double amputee burn victim janitor who beats people to death with a mop. And this is in the "real" world.
I love how nobody can keep track of the potentially world destroying quest item.

A two-layered RTD epic, complete with soundtrack. Maintains the perfect balance between "realistic" and "totally insane." Sometimes updates dizzyingly quickly. I think they're trying to save the world, but it's not entirely clear... Now with references to Liberal Elf Crime Squad! What more can I say?

So it turns out that dumping magma on skeletons is either a really bad idea or maybe like the best idea ever.

I've managed to get though Roll to Roll to dodge with my lungs intact, somehow, and it's one of the most utterly hilarious things I have ever seen.

Adding my vote for it's inclusion.

Good idea to store all the good stories here.
