Oh hey, this thread is alive again.

Here, have my new laptop's desktop.
Spoiler: I'm not a weeb I swear (click to show/hide)
There's a bunch of Minecraft stuff sitting there that I never use. Useful stuff is in the Dropbox. I also have a Google Drive for other things but that's not on the desktop.

Hard science is like a sword, and soft science is like fear. You can use both to equally powerful results, but even if your opponent disbelieve your stabs, they will still die.

For some reason I find an odd sort of amusement in naming my icons stupid things.

Read Throwback Fortress if you want context.

Too lazy to do full screenshot, so here's the wallpaper. I've changed nothing from the last thousand times except the color of the theme to white.

now i just need to figure out where i've seen that central symbol before because there is no way nobody's used it for something

one of these days i'm going to unwittingly neo-nazi one of these things up, just you wait

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

I think Helgo has observed two of my avatars as being accidental Naziism. We should start a club.

I often have everything I'm working on plus a lot of junk just saved on the desktop. Usually I clean it by just dragging everything into those junk folders visible. I don't know why I have the shortcuts on the desktop since I never use them.  :)

It's the Europa, moon of Jupiter.
