  You're all a bit creeped out by chaoticjosh's bugged out eyes staring at you the whole time, so by the end of the day everyone is just sitting around in an awkward silence. Eventually, you decide to just call it a day and tally up the votes.

  Mr.Person is chosen, to the surprise of no one, and swiftly gunned down. Looking at his corpse, you watch is slowly transform into its true, monstrous form. However, he looks a bit different then the other. More refined, more powerful, a more Advanced Doppelganger all around. Fascinating.

  You ponder this fact as you head home.

  The next day find both Kashyyk and forsaken1111 gone. You check out Kashyyk's house first. It is undisturbed, as if he has simply vanished.

  Forsaken1111 was not so fortunate. His bathroom is coated in blood splatters, and the once-white mat is now almost entirely red. Whatever happened here was quite brutal. Checking around, you discover that he was a Reporter for the local newspaper. In addition, you find a book on his bedstand entitled 'How to develop your natural Mind Shield'.

  You are quite relieved to leave his house. You have much to discuss this day.

Not quite correct ToonyMan. 

The Exterminator is no longer a problem.  I am the Alien Scientist and I've kidnapped webadict (who was human) and Kashyyk (who was the Exterminator).  Therefore, all I am missing is a dopp and I will have won.  Since there are 2 dopps, lynching one today and giving me the other tonight will result in a win for both me and the Town.

To make things more interesting, I choose the Intel as my item.  I know all of the roles that exist in the game and have figured out (mostly through PMs) who all of the Humans are.

To help out the town, the possible roles of the remaining two dopps are:
- Dopp Leader
- Medium
- Vigilante (with a Mind Shield)
- Kook (not actually a dopp role, but I'm not sure who it is yet)

ToonyMan, BloodBeard, and Frelock have three of these roles (one is also a Kook) and webadict has the 4th.

The question then is, which one is the Kook?  I know there is a Detective in the game (I've been in contact with him) that was going to investigate one of the potential Mafia.  If they are the Kook, we know who the dopps are.  If not, then we know who one dopps is.  I just ask that you let me have that one and double lynch the other two today.

That would put a minor damper on the plan.  But not really, as we can just lynch one dopp today, give me the other one tonight, and lynch the third tomorrow.

I agree that BloodBeard has to be a dopp. There is no reason for a townie to false-claim advanced doppleganger to (presumably) attempt to save the real one. Vote BloodBeard.

Okay, I've gotten news back from the Detective.

- ToonyMan is a Dopp Medium (the Detective told me the Medium part; that implies the dopp part).
- BloodBeard has no reason to have said he was a dopp if he was the kook.  So he's the Dopp Leader.
- Frelock is a Kook.  And a Kooky one at that.  Sorry for doubting you.
- Webadict was the Vigilante with a Mind Shield.  Guess that explains why people haven't been dying left and right.  I should have figured that out earlier.  ::\

So vote BloodBeard.
I will kidnap ToonyMan tonight and end the game.

Oh, I didn't read the bottom of Janus's post.

I am, in fact, the detective, and last night I investigated Toonyman. Toonyman came up as a Medium, which (coupled with BloodBeard's false-claim yesterday) I believe forces the last two dopps to be BloodBeard and Toonyman, as Dopp Leader and Medium, respectively. That would make Webadict the Vigilante and Frelock the Kook.

I therefore propose that we lynch BloodBeard (as I've already voted) today and give ToonyMan to Janus tonight.

I second the day shortening.  Unless something is seriously wrong, the game is over.

(And yes Kashyyk who is now in my prison cells, Firefly is amazing.  I just finished re-watching it for the 4th (or 5th (or 6th)) time.  Firefly Mafia?  (Although I have no idea how that would work (and nested parenthesis greatly amuse me (I'm a computer scientist by training (can you tell? (yay for LISP)))))

Wow. Janus, Kashyyk pm'd me during the night claiming to be a survivor and that you told him that you were going to abduct him. I was going to have you killed, and we would have succeeded, but Kashyyk never responded to my pm back asking for the message you sent him. He was online the whole time so I thought it was all a plot, but he posted in the Paranormal discussion thread that he was over the 20 limit and so he couldn't have responded. You lucky, lucky alien.

In all truthfulness, this game is won for the town. Should we just speed-play this to get it done?
