Gamzee gets thrown off his magnificient murder mojo by seeing a blue boy in pajamas? Huh. Well, I like to see the clown suffer as much as the next guy, but wasn't he like the third-to-strongest troll in straight up melee at that point? Vriska and, as it turned out, revamped Kanaya being ahead of the curve.

Sooo... What does the scouter magic cueball say about Terezi's powerlevel?

Probably "Power levels are useless and don't accurately reflect anything" :P

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

Nothing new, since Terezi, as we already saw (before and during GAME OVER), can survive ungodly beating from Gamzee + being stabbed with a sword and still can act for a prolonged period of time after that.

Also, she one-shotted Vriska.

Probably same as her managing to OHK a player at the top of her echeladder. That is to say, nothing. Both were on a target unable to retaliate and had the power of narrative drama on their side.

Terezi is strong because she has justice on her side.

Yeah, not sure. Vriska's still probably going to die as it stands, because what made Terezi do it was the knowledge that letting her go gets everyone killed.
Though a huge contributor was Gamzee's manipulation, which caused the whole thing to be hugely confrontational from the start. The false murder accusations, being provoked by the note...
Terezi even mentions herself that she wishes there was a different way to have done it, and we get a sort of interesting reply from the exposition fairy:

AG: At that moment, perhaps.
AG: You know very well the channels of possi8ility at that exact juncture resulted from her decision paths as well as yours.
Terezi is obviously trying to change the situation it occurred in, and perhaps in doing so opening up a new course of action.
Probably just means taking Vriska out of going...
With this crazy retcon crap though, I'm guessing the surviving trolls join together to:
Kill Jack together (Vriska might have succeeded *alone*)
Callback Eridan's plan and join Jack against Lord English.
Fingers crossed :X

They still kinda need to get on the meteor for story to make sense, and why would they get onto the meteor ride without Jack running after them?

To get to the post-scratch session.

Because they have the forge, a functioning Skaia, and are pretty much ready to jump in and win the session.

For sloppy makeout parties meeting up with everyone else? Plus, their universe was destroyed in Cascade, so they have to scram.

Doc Scratch, man. He's really good at telling the truth in misleading ways.

[Lord English is] more deadly [than Jack]. (True)
But the danger he poses is sanctioned by paradox space. (Because everything in the alpha timeline is sanctioned by paradox space)
It is a known quantity. His very existence in a universe will mean it will inevitably be torn apart. (Jack's is a known quantity, too, given that paradox space knows everything)
But there are rules to his entry, and his grim procession through paradox space is rather orderly. (Probably because Caliborn wants it that way) The present equilibrium has accounted for him, and will continue to. (Same with Jack, in fact. He hasn't said that Jack isn't sanctioned, nor that he's accounted for.)
Jack however is a loose cannon. He will not stop until he destroys everything he encounters. (But his being a loose cannon does not say that he's not accounted for or sanctioned.)
Additionally, his existence is your responsibility. (The same can be said for English.)
Refusing to venture out to destroy the sun in no way spares anyone from my master regardless. (True)
It is certainly true that destroying it will end my life. (Hee. True.)
And it is certainly true that The Tumor you will deliver to its location has enough power to destroy it completely. (But he didn't say that it will.)
But it is not the only way to kill me. (Apparently, Hussie's presence will do that. Or just living long enough for LE to explode out of him.)
It is simply a way I have suggested to you, which doubles as a way to disarm Jack, should you choose to go through with it. ("It" referring to destroying the green sun, which is not actually really possible, but the statement is true regardless.)

Man, what an a-hole.
