Well at least these extra bits aren't going to be pulling any punches.  Hussie did say he's writing some segments, so I suppose we get to play "guess the author".

But... the author... is listed on the page... isn't it?

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

I like this image, because I know the source for that dialogue.

It's from Two Best Friends Play Portal 2. There are a few videos that put Matt and Pat's words into the mouths of Homestuck characters, as well. If you like mash-ups like that.

That really describes any programming.

Yeah, they commented on one of those videos and thought they were quite inventive reuses of their dialogue.  Also, that particular gag is a reference to The South Park Movie.  No really.

Wow. After hours of searching and asking around, I've found it.
The possibly biggest thread in general discussion.
Thanks to EP for pointing me to this place.

Holy -
Wow, that's a lot of pages.

But I was specifically looking for the MSPA thread. I'm boggling at the number of pages on this one, that one is just mind blowing.

Interesting how, in all except Top Topic Starters, the statistic of the highest looks to be around twice the one in second.

I'm more amazed at the fact that this thread has stayed so high, despite being practically dead for a lot of the time due to Hiatusstuck.

This thread is so utterly massive due to how early in the comic it started. The the second post after the original post basically states the thread was started before Jade was properly introduced.

Every update would get 1-3 pages of discussion. (This is using the forum's default posts per page system, which is 15 posts per page.) Big reveals, plot twists, and flashes I'm assuming would garner more pages. There would always be a group of regular posters, some would disappear, only to be replaced by new readers or forum members.

This thread has basically died due to the gigapause. People obviously want to talk about Homestuck, because whenever a talkable instance comes up (Such as now.) ~10-20 different people spring on the opportunity. Unfortunately, before Paradox Space, all conversation material (With the exception of the dreaded shipping, something few are willing to talk about.) had been depleted. Heck, even with PXS it's still sorta dead.

Let's shift this thread to PXS for now.

And in other news, it's 47 days before 6/12, a possible date for the final update.

Every dwarf, every dwarven man, women, and child, that comes to our forts will die there; it's truly sad when you think about it. And we ask our selves, why? Why do we push forward, knowing this fate, that we are destined for failure? Because, this game grasps the concept of mortality. Some games you can never lose, but we all stop eventually, causing a 'death' to those game's 'worlds'. Dwarf Fortress gives us a definite end, knowing that we will leave that world eventually, and move on to more.
