So, it's 4/13. No change to the comic. No update on the news, even.

What gives, Hussie?  >:(

4/13 would be the COOLEST date to shoot for, right? I doubt that's realistic though. Because in spite of my most religious wishes every single day, magic keeps on being fake. THANKS, "god".

What gives, Hussie?

It's noon?  Or he's hiding in shame.

According to Imgur, it's been about a year since the last time I posted a pile of random fanart.  I remember when that was a thing I did.  Also a year ago that John got unstuck in canon, and six months since the last time the comic actually updated.  Funny that Homestar Runner of all things updated in the meantime.

So... let me go round up some fanart.  There's plenty to sort through.

Through my thousand secret sources in time and space, I have determined that Hussie WILL put up something on 4/13.

It will not, however, be the long-awaited end of the gigapause.

That will be... one hundred and ... fifty credits.

Oh shit son.

It's like a fans wet dream.

Except very real and you have to change the sheets.

If only they had anything worth buying.  Hmm, 20% off for John and Jane related stuff.  Interesting that they would be 18 years old today.

I find this a slightly worrying development.  He's still dragging his feet on finishing his own comic, and he's already outsourcing attention to other people's fanart.  What, does he expect Homestuck to be the next TouHou or something?

Ironically enough, I will now post a giant pile of fanart!  Warning: Shitload of images - not 56k or mobile device friendly.

I imagine it's like when Michael Kirkbride posted C0DA to say "the Elder Scrolls universe is big and there's lots of stuff to expound upon, so don't hesitate to do so", though with a lot less controversy.

Gadzooks, the Imagedumps of Old have risen to wander the desert plains of this once-mighty thread! Is this the dawn of a new Golden Age?

Huh. I don't know what to expect. Morrison's a great comic maker, of course, and his entry was very nice. I expected more of a punchline, but, well, you don't put the punchline at the beginning of a joke.

Most comic series need to have been running for a couple decades though, before the insane take over the asylum;)

Interesting. Up until now, Homestuck only included important things; we pretty much only learned about characters' pasts through conversations and stuff.

This comic is going to change that, I suppose.

This is probably one of the best things that could happen, since it will appease people waiting for the update without increasing Hussie's workload too much.

My sister saw this.  How long does it take for hearing to return to normal after an extremely loud fangirl reaction?
