Ok, so summary of how I think it stands after this conversation. Bifurcation here means that a portal has a single input and an output in each B1 and B2 (at least). Kids are definitely bifurcated. Everything else is ambiguous, technically, although the last post convinces me that probably there are separate frog temples, and thus there is no bifurcation of Jack Noir. Non-bifurcated meteors need a new portal to be made in the new Session, but bifurcated meteors don't (and can't).
I think that sums up roughly what I'm thinking. Except for the meteors,I think they are a custom parallel in every session. Also, I just realized. Shouldn't they technically be called Asteroids? Then again, it has been implied the entirety of the incinisphere has an atmosphere, so I suppose meteor is correct.

Every dwarf, every dwarven man, women, and child, that comes to our forts will die there; it's truly sad when you think about it. And we ask our selves, why? Why do we push forward, knowing this fate, that we are destined for failure? Because, this game grasps the concept of mortality. Some games you can never lose, but we all stop eventually, causing a 'death' to those game's 'worlds'. Dwarf Fortress gives us a definite end, knowing that we will leave that world eventually, and move on to more.

The frog temple is built on site from a crater 'seed', though - it doesn't come prebaked with towers and shit.

It...

Actually does.

Go watch Cascade again, when Noir enters the 'seed', look. B1's fully assembled and undamaged temple.

Go watch Cascade again
Rarely a bad plan.

“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

Watch WV:Ascend again.  It's built on site.

Yes. Both of these are facts. As near as I can tell, when it comes time to enter the portal, the temple disappears and then rebuilds after impact.

I just managed to navigate from Gorillaz to Artistic Liscense Biology to Jack Chick to (something) to Samuel L. Jackson to Snoop Dogglion to Homestuck.

Wat.

TV Tropes. Thirty minutes of skimming everything else and thirty more of actually paying attention to Homestuck.

When I am on tvtropes, I read the article, open a dozen tabs, read the list, open another two dozens, look at the open tabs, sigh, and restart my browser.

It's the only way.

I read the Real Life, Webcomics, Web Original, and skim the Videogames section, investigate a work, open up all of its pages at once, and WORK MY WAY THROUGH THEM AND ANY OTHER TABS I OPEN UNTIL THERE ARE NONE LEFT.
