Oh Vriska, like you give even a single fuck... You just want to kill the big bad for the lulz.

No, wanting to be a hero was always a huge part of her character. She wants to help her friends and earn their respect, but because she grew up on Alternia, raised by a giant spider, the best she can manage is brutalizing her friends into improving themselves and commanding their fear. The reason she wants to kill Lord English is that deep down she believes that once she does, people will finally like her. (People who aren't Andrew Hussie, because fuck that guy.)

Sure, she's kind of evil, I'll give you that, but that doesn't mean that she isn't allowed to have motives for all the evil things she does.

Yeah, she wants to save the day and be admired by people who matter.  She just freaks them out because she enjoys sacrificing people who don't matter.  That messed up upbringing again.  She's a monster and an antihero, and at least she learned that the main characters (including Tavros) are off limits for sacrificing.

Edit: Ooh, I bet she gets possessed by Calliope.  Now that would be a neat reversal!  Plus she kinda looks like possessed-Jade here.

Wait Feferi was a life hero? Why didn't she revive? Didn't Jane do a lifey thing and revive when Noir stabbed her?

That was her dream self. Feferi got Real Killed. In addition, her dream self was also killed previously by the power of B1 Jack.

Okay, I can accept that. I thought it was because a knife wound was easier to recover from then a hole in the middle of your body.

Also, different class means different powers. Note that she brought Wayward Vagabond back to life (or at least saved his life) with her powers.

My theory is that the Lifey Thing should really be called the Plotty Thing.

Also, Jane's a maid - that means she's a passive servant of the inevitable in respect to her powers. If there's anyone with an auto-res, I could see it being a Maid. ("Your life is not yet finished!")

Note that our OTHER Maid, Aradia, ALSO died early on, and that didn't even slow HER down either.

Feferi is a Witch, which implies active control over her power, rather than being controlled by it. And it's hard to control something when you are *DEAD*.

What was Feferi? Either both of them are passive classes (healing other people is pretty beneficial to your party, but you are screwed if anything happens to you), or it's one of those weird things where an aspect makes a certain class that is active act like it is passive.

There is conceivably quite a bit more that Feferi could have done as a powerful With of Life that we don't know about. Witch's are pretty powerful classes.

But main timeline Feferi was really bad at sgrub. So we'll probably never get to see most of them.

I think she worked with the horrorterrors to create the dream bubbles, which seems to be the only reason the ghosts got an afterlife.  (Vriska implies in the latest update that the ghosts only enjoyed this afterlife because of the horrorterrors).  I'd say that's some powerful life magic.

I think the classes don't really affect such pedestrian game abilities all that much. They're more about huge overarching plot shit the players end up doing, as well as the mystical spiritual personality stuff that determine what kind of god they would become in the new world.

I think the dream bubbles far predate Feferi.

Wouldn't they kind of have to? The ancestors were apparently chilling in them for a bloody long time.

Though, paradox space being what it is, that might not be an actual issue. Maybe she made them later or will in the future relative to her.

Nope.
