That only looks to be one wing attatched to it though, there's still wing over his left leg.

By the way, for you people with no visual comprehension, two things to note.  One, Gamzee's coat doesn't have wing-slits like Vriska's did.  And two, check out those gray rib things holding the wings up.  Just to clear things up.

While looking at those I noticed something. Troll wings have some patterns of lighter and darker material (I'm not sure what the name for whatever insect wings are made of is), while Gamzee's are a lot cruder. Compare Gamzee's wings with Vriska's. Hell, the shape of Gamzee's wings are a bit simpler too. Gamzee's wings aren't just fake, they're crappy fakes.

I was going to cite that Rufio was also a Mutant because he had wings.

But who really knows one way or the other. Not that it wasn't oddly appropriate for the the "Mirthful Messiah" Gamzee was conspiring to bring into the session to turn around and fill him with daylight at their first meeting... but I suspect he's still around one way or the other.

IDE/THEORY: Gamzee is a genuine God Tier character, and the overall crappiness of his outfit is just part of the Bard ensemble. This is not the theory.

This has all been done just to troll the fanbase, and at one point the narrative will belittle the readers for predicting such a shitty twist. This is not the theory either.

Hussie feeds on the reader's frustration, their anger and confusion. Every time somebody goes "HUSSSIIIIEEEEE!!!", he becomes a little bit stronger. Eventually, he will have amassed enough power to come back to life, much stronger than before, and he will be able to get his revenge on LE, retake his rightful place as the second-most important character of MSPA, and make video games.
