It was outright said that the troll session was "this side of the scratch"

I am sorry, what?
Doc Scratch told us that the troll session was previously scratched, but worded it in such a manner as to make us believe that the scratch was what let Jack through to the troll's session.

That would require the same Jack to be in the Beforus session.

Doc Scratch is basically Kyubey.

Speaking of Jack getting places, have we figured out how he got into the universe-pond or whatever to kill the kids' universe?

Not exactly. He was, technically, that side of a scratch. That he had also to be on the other side is merely an implication.

If by the kid's universe you mean the troll's session, then all we know is that there was a teleporter in WV's exile pod that sent him there. We don't know why it went there, or if other exile pods have similar teleporters that lead to that or other sessions.

I'm pretty sure taht the universe pond is literally skaia, so that shouldn't be an issue.

UPDATE!

And... I think that puts the 'Gamzee is Caliborn's foster dad' thing to rest.

Unless Gamzee was a really terrible father.  :o

It's fine, relax guys. That was hardly heroic!

Unless that gun is some sort of rule breaking juju... Which it almost certainly is. I mean how could it not be? Fucking EVERYTHING is a rule breaking juju. Heck, if it wasn't then it would be because it would be breaking the rule that everything is a rule breaking juju.

I gotta say I wasn't expecting that. Still, I don't think that was particularly just or heroic. He may be safe.

Also, I suspected that the "Bard of Rage" power was all about taking punishment, and then returning it against an opponent: During his Asteroid Rampage, he always was attacked or injured before he struck back. I suspect we will see him put Calliborn in his place via some kind of shooshpapping, and then we will see a proper father/son relationship begin to blossom.

I don't think that's true. Equius didn't lay one sweaty finger on him.

But yeah, I would've been more surprised if Caliborn hadn't taken that particular course of action.

Equis attacked him though. Shot an arrow at him, and missed. It might be a gaming abstraction thing.

What? When? I don't recall a single occasion on which Equius actually managed to fire an arrow.

There wasn't one.
He just went there to start a fight. Obviously, couldn't go through with it.
