You know, I was expecting something a lot more convoluted to explain the Session-Earth-Hoppings than "There are portals in the basement of the Frog Temple". I guess this is how Grandpa got to the Medium pre-Scratch. I wonder if hopping into the session your universe spawns costs a similar amount of energy as hopping into the session that spawned your universe.

The thing is, there's only a Derse and a Prospit portal.

So either Grandpa Harley went to Prospit and bro'd up with them, and got a free ship out of the deal, or he went to Derse and badassed his way all the way down to the Medium.

Yeah, I agree. Or, at the very least, there would have been evidence of the destruction.

Then again... Jake getting into the session this way might be evidence that Grandpa Harley did go through Derse. Not hard evidence to be sure, but clearly worth noting. Hard to say.

Also, now we have to wonder if Jake will ever be a proper part of the session, since I doubt he'll go back to his island and >Enter in the traditional manner.

It's a video game. Also the Condesce/Jade put them there to travel between Derse and Earth.

We also now know how Condesce gets from Earth to Derse/vice versa.
