When we select him on the character selection screen, we'll probably see him get in with a lot of shenanigans.  When we play Dirk, we'll probably watch him plop the devices down, and then transfer over to DreamDirk.

        All he could think about was how bad the metal floor tasted.

   Karkat couldn’t say he had never been knocked on the ground before. When he was on Alternia, his Lusus kicked his ass a fair bit, and when he first entered the game some of the tougher enemies gave him a run for his money. These experiences gave him a small bit of familiarity with the taste of floor, but this taste was just so… so alien. He supposed that the carapace people used a special metal to craft stations like the one he sat in now.

   Ah, the carapace people. He had almost forgotten his complete loathing of them. The only one he could really stand was Jack, and…

   Well, Jack was standing over the dead body of Terezi right now, basking in the glory of the kill.

   It didn’t really matter to him that Terezi was dead. He didn’t quite know why, though he supposed it had something to do with the fact that he, and this entire timeline, were doomed by the unseen machinations of paradox space. Terezi had already explained this to him, several times in fact, so by now he was jaded to the death of those around him. He wondered if-

>Sit up, boy

   Karkat’s brooding was interrupted by the familiar echo of his exile, the very same man standing in front of him now. Well, not quite the same, but he figured that he has had enough of time shenanigans for this life.

>Well, I guess this is goodbye you insufferable twerp.

   Bec Noir sauntered over to Karkat, taking time on the last kill of the day, it seemed.

>I said sit up. Get on your knees boy, face death with some dignity.

   He does this, struggling to a kneeling position as the demon stops in front of him.

>Now, from where you’re kneeling, it must look like you've had into a eighteen carat run of bad luck.

   Bec pulls the katana out of his torso, holding it next to Karkat’s head.

   The last thing Karkat sees is a teal-stained sword crossing paths with his neck, the stale air cooling his hot, red blood as his neck is ripped asunder.
