Notice that in the "scratched" sessions, it seems like only the post-scratch team goes into the game. But in the original session, other people definitely made it in.

Where did we get proof that multiple groups successfully started sessions on beta!Earth?  I hear it a lot, but as far as I remember everyone else failed to actually enter their medium before the meteors/Bec hit (thus the incomplete gameFaqs guides).

Yeah, I think its possible for other people to enter the Medium, because, as Darvi pointed out, Feodora Freak did make it inside. If its possible for them to actually to even win and get the ultimate reward is up for grabs.

However, I am fairly certain that it would be impossible for them to either: A. Reach God Tier, or B. Scratch their Session. Those are likely only for those destined to play, as I am sure it was said before that everyone who plays Sburb is destined to reach God Tier at some point or another.

But how do we know each planet only produces one group that is "destined to play"?

I mean scratched sessions, sure, they seem to be "one group". But the original planet had it's stuff generally distributed, I assume for a reason.

And if this is really how universes reproduce, 1 spawned from 1 with less than 100% of success is NOT a long term successful strategy!
