Why do you think all the Zelda games take place in Hyrule and have such similar set pieces yet are totally different?

 The real question is what the reset device is. I'm already ruling out the Master Sword as it has been broken in the games I think, or at least messed with enough to invalidate it.

Similar, but more severe.
Since this timeline will undergo such a violent upheaval, such a merger of memory cannot happen.
You will be resigned to absolute oblivion.
Unless you can discover a way to preserve yourselves.
But it's not really my place to advise you on that.
After you have dealt with the Scratch and the sun, what happens to you is not any of my business.

Huh... so if they want to preserve their knowledge, and even themselves, after the Scratch, they'd have to find some way of hiding them away somewhere outside of time. Perhaps in a repurposed server out in the furthest rim?

Something tells me that Doc Scratch is avoiding telling Rose what to do specifically, so that she thinks she came up with the plan. Somehow the Scratch, and their bid to save themselves is going to make Lrd English.

Hmm. I wonder if Doc's death ends up factoring in too... maybe his body is somehow alchemized to make him? Also, Scratch wanting the Green Sun gone might also be to remove Jack as a threat... since Doc is Alternian, destroying the Earth Session's Green Sun may not end up removing Doc's powers at all.

Isn't the green sun the same regardless of the universe you're in? Meaning that destroying it will also remove Doc Scratch's powers.

Doc Scratch wants to die, and he's invulnerable until the Green Sun is destroyed, so I assume that the Green Sun for any universe is the same Green Sun for every universe.

From this conversation it's pretty clear who's going to be performing the Scratch, and there are other hints that suggest the kids and trolls have a plan for preserving themselves in the ways that count.

Karkat keeps talking about how they're going to meet up, and he wants to avoid sloppy interspecies makeouts. He either doesn't know what the Scratch is really supposed to do, or he does know and everybody's trying to work around it. I'm betting the latter, since a complete reset, memories and everything, would suck.

I was under the impression that there's only one green sun, and it exists outside of the individual sessions.

I was under the impression that crazyspace was a constant and the various sessions were scattered around in bubbles in crazyspace.
