Am I the only one who thinks the bright and dark red parts of the lines are probably important?  Like, maybe each line is a different iteration in Daves, expanding rightward, and the bright part signifies Alpha Dave?

I think the bright red just means there was a Dave there then, while the dark red means that Dave was also somewhere/when else.  The doomed one is greyed out because he isn't found in any future time.  Not any that we can see, anyways.

I'm thinking each line represents a time jump by Dave. So no matter whether Dave jumps forward or backward, a new line gets made to track this. This is probably the only practical way to keep track of all this stuff.

I think the brightened parts of the line indicate the paths through time the Dave currently being viewed has taken, so that's why doomed Dave's line is lit as well as Alpha Dave's.

I don't see what the slider has to do with anything.

If there are a ton of Dave timelines, there has to be some way to go between them.
Are you suggesting that the alpha timeline is at a specific spot on the slider?
Think about it. There is a slider at the bottom of your window when it is too wide for one page horizontally. I'd imagine Dave Prime would be somewhere near the center or left, not at the far right.

What happens if coin!dave only achieves ONE HALF of all the god tiers?  Since he attains them with 50% probability, after all.

That's not how probability works!

Considering this comic, that could be how it works.

Terezi's case here is special, because it's not immediately clear who is the doomed and who is the alpha.

This isn't true.

The Dave with the Libra chat bubble is the point at which the timeline diverged. (The middle timeline.)

The Dave wearing long sleeved record shirt is Alpha Dave, as his timeline (the second from the right) continues forward.

The Dave wearing the Felt Suit is doomed. His timeline (the third from the right) goes dark in a little bit, so he's the one that's going to die.

But we don't know what exactly the dark portion represents. We know that the dark red bits indicate where that Dave isn't in the Alpha timeline, so maybe the dark black portion represents Green Dave jumping back into another timeline.

Most of them are Dave Prime. Maybe all of them?

Center or left?

Why left and not right?

Where is the left side bias coming from?
