This page reminds me a lot of this page. Similar things are going on with both. Failure at trolling at odds with how much they think they've succeeded.

If Andrew ever goes into detail about Tavros' trolling methods I hope there is a sequence where Tavros crumples up pieces of paper containing failed raps until he has a flash of inspiration and writes that one.

I can't help but see those pictures as sequential; wherein Rose mind-controls Vriska to push Tavros down the stairs. Not that Vriska needs much convincing.

Yeah, but she looks considerably more intense about it.  Downright Super-Saiyan even.  The impish grin while snarkily asking gA for her name is one more level.
