I'll admit, I used to think badly of shippers. I would think of them as immature adolescents with nothing better to do than to imagine and contrive unlikely ways for their favorite fictional characters to hook up. I'd sneer and snide at them, thinking myself some sort of intellectual superior, who busied himself with more mature hobbies.

After reading through this however, it is but now I realize something terrible:
