Definitely the former, considering the fact that that is literally exactly what happened the other time.

(haha that phrase could apply to ANYTHING)

Yeah I know, but you have to leave your options open. We were told of an alternate resolution if things had been allowed to develop without outside intervention, after all.

I am not thrilled with even more 'new' characters showing up but dang it this would be posted on a Friday so that I will fuss over not knowing what happens until Monday.

Is there any point in me going back to the start and rereading? It has been so long and so many hiatuses but I don't think it would make anything any clearer in this story full of time shenanigans and alternate realities and retcons.

Eh, it's not really a "new" character, per se.

I did an archive binge when I came back after a year or so ragequit. There's lots of little call-forwards and dramatic ironies that made it entertaining, and it definitely made a little more sense in hindsight. But it's really a matter of if you wanna take the couple weeks' time to go back through it all.

Yeah, re-reading Homestuck takes a while. And believe me, most of that time is spent clicking through bullshit zooming in and out from stuff. Sollux's glasses are an especially nasty culprit.

Any artists want to challenge themselves?
Try showing me what the sprites look like once these kernelsprites enter the medium.

Gaurdians Ancestors (Like Nana). I didn't draw faces for that reason.
I tried to make it clear that the stuff on the left was what was prototyped (four Kernel Towers (Two in snowglobes and the other two with blood), a boar, a Green-Sun Parrot, a movie star/Ancestor, and a mysterious other ancestor), and on the right were the resulting Kernels. I couldn't think of how the sprites would look, though.

I want to draw 'em but honestly I don't see what being prototyped with towers would do apart from them having towers sticking out from their back.

Yes, I still think the towers are just transmitters.

Well, that wasn't really the talk I expected, but I'll take it.

Talk about destroying an ego, though. Holy shit.
