In the east area of slagtown, in one of the buildings south of the first road that goes all the way east, there is a lab which goes down into a bunker. If you search this bunker you can go down, into the subway tunnels. In the subway tunnels there is a cross shaped room. Search the south-most part of the cross shaped room, and follow the path there. Eventually you'll get into a maze, and you're aiming to get past the safety biocontainment thingy doors. One of the offices has a key in it if you search it.

The Department of Homeland Insecurity (DSI).

How do you get DSI? Shouldn't this be DHI? I dont get it, What is the 'S' for?
Yeah well, Darkchaos reckoned the only options were DOHI or DSI.
Also I don't know where the S came from at all.

zombie is really terrible though

abom and vampire are ok, but the best build is a human gunslinger generally speaking.  of course you'll need medic and lockpicking friends

well the medic and lockpicking can be just one friend but otherwise I agree (then again ive got no experience as a zombie, abom, or vamp).

Vamp is probably the best race mut for a gunslinger/blade user for the cool bonus. Zombie has it's perks, like getting a reflex boost from being full and puking rot over people (zombies have yet to kill me, it's always the rot). Abom is a complete game changer though, while a vamp will spend his days hiding in the sewers but be completely normal at night an abom will live in the necropolis and hide from every posse and major city guard that goes after them. It's a fun mut, and aboms are very (VERY) powerful, but it has huge drawbacks.

The only real drawback from zombie is being unable to heal except via being full. Heads are heavy, and eating brains takes too long to be efficient. Remove that drawback and let zombies heal from Iron Liver or nanites in combat and Zombie would be a fairly popular mut imo, the soaks and stat bonuses are pretty good.

Abom must be tough, none of the npc shops will let you buy from them. Right now, I'm making some nice cash being a personal shopper for some of them.

Zombie bile is useless, except on newbies. Most people either have hyperimmune or a mortilex hypo handy. And it takes a long time to set in, long enough for you to run to a corpmate with mortilex.

It's not truly useless, you just have to be creative. For instance, vomiting on crackheads can be effective as a trap.

Someone zombified a rock leech and got it to slagtown.

Zombie rot sucks for early players. Granted most players who can get the zombie mut are strong enough to go after the hyperimmune mut too, but still, anyone with low medic skill and low chemestry skill either has to get corp help or pay for it. Zombie rot sucks.

Or, you know, update their clone, drop all their stuff in their hotel room, then go stand in a crowded area and hope their zombie kills someone.
