For the first time Cairn seems to actually do something, sprinting away from the debris and leaping under a table, where he seems to somehow merge with the shadows - focusing on him is difficult. Deadly just laughs

"You get used to it Cairn - these people don't seem to understand that the normal way to enter a house is through the front doors. Oh well, its more interesting that way. Also Mission, what do you mean by an eye? Nothing a Shadowmancer can summon can petrify you, except with terror, and most of them are pretty flimsy. They're main advantage is numbers. Cairn did quite well by summoning a Horror - the problem is more powerful Shadows tend to not listen to their masters. Most Shadowmancers his age would be summoning Shadelings - basically a mixed bag of weak critters. next up are Shades, the same again with a bit more variety and staying power. Otherwise they'd just be doing basic Shadowbinding stuff. I imagine that they either had to get Masters to deal with the Horror, a Feral, or just wait until it dissolved."

"Also, anyone want to fight in the Arena - Cairn and I can tag team against any of you guys - I'd like to see what he can do without the Orders looking over his shoulder."

If Cairn opposes this idea he doesn't say anything - he looks somewhat embarrassed about fleeing from Luke

"I'll tag-team with Cairn, but not in the arena."

[Luke did walk through the front door. the drop pod crashed outside]

"I'd be willing to do some fighting. I can take you both on"

"Oooo! I'll fight with Luke! We can tag-team!"

"I'll ref the fight... can't guarantee it will be a fair fight if I ref though."

Mission grins

[Archangel]

Archangel rockets into the room, glides over a wall, does a flip over Luke and then sweeps off into the aquarium.

"Hey guys how about a three on three fight, no rules, no ref."

Ocade is smiling.

"No rules?" asked Luke to Ocade "do you really want to do that, or are you trying to sound tough?"

"Sounds good to me I'm as good with a blade as I am with me trinkets"

Mission puts his staff into one of his impossibly deep pockets and pulls a short sword out of another. It has a hand and a half hilt with many gems decorating it. One gem is implanted every inch or so along the swords edge. Beautiful designs go along the length of the blade entwining around the gems.(Who knows what enchantments are in such gems?)

"Yep haven't used this in awhile but it will do"
