What is this Darkling Theme you speak of?

EDIT: Nevermind, found it. This is pretty intense.

When you asked that question, my immediate response was, "What's wrong?  He's using firefox."

On topic, I too am a darkling user, but feel that all should be able to choose what format is best for them.  Let's not take away Toady's valuable coding time with foolish requests like this.

I also was socked upon seeing this, now I am faced whit the horrible moral dilemma of either killing my eyes and abandoning what I believe in in order to mimic the one who knows best, or taking away valuable coding time and commit heresy by trying to convert Toady.

No, having a different theme than Toadys not acceptable, why do you even ask such a silly question?

Part of it (most of it) is that I want to use the default settings for SMF so that I maintain a sense of what the typical experience is (although I don't remember if Darkling users outnumber default users yet), although it hardly matters now.  I do prefer darker screens (I switched MSVC off the default white background, for example).  In particular, I'd probably turn off signatures if I weren't responsible for moderating them.

What is the moderation limit for sigs anyway? Mine was pretty explicit a while ago.

It's like a few hundred Darkling users to about 8000 default users. Even if most default users are inactive, they probably still outnumber us.

If somebody complains and I agree, mostly.

As far as happening upon something and caring, it'd have to be just random pointless swearing or something (assuming it doesn't violate the general forum rules -- no trolling, illegal links, etc.).  But the actual rules might end up being a bit more strict, depending on the rationale behind the report.  I don't think people in general have to worry.  I don't remember moderating any signatures aside from some that were set up by the spiteful muted or people that had specific beef with someone else, that kind of thing.
