Look on the first page for the map. See the third ring? Look on the southeast-ish side of it for a big brown field. Look for a twistiesh line on the south side of that field. Head to that line. I'm there, and I can help you out.

Also, I have 7 loaves of bread to be donated to the 'get bottleneck some leather' fund.

And 3 mutton roasts.

In as Megalith. Gigalith ended up being a naked guy with a hat, shoes, and a fishing pole from a hillarious accident with the chargen room.

malicus, how much lp are you getting from being a solitary person? if its high enough for grinding purposes i may decide to forge my own little estate off by myself.
EDIT: also, it appears that unarmed combat may have an effect on melee battle other than hitting people without using weapons. jorb, or maybe someone else, posted his character sheet and it showed 30 unarmed combat, 50 melee and 30 marksmanship.

The real killer is the cost of the land I'm claiming.

Just asking: can you claim a really narrow belt of land? If so, you and some others could surround Bottleneck with a barrier of claimed land. Does that prevent entry, or just alert you when someone trespasses? Or do neither? It might help with the faggot infestation that seems to be killing your trees.

The problem is that you can't cross other peoples claimed land. Also if it's too thin you could tresspass with hardly any hp penalty.

The only system that I see working is making an insurpassable fence with gaps in it, and the gaps having 1 tile wide and 10 tiles long land claims from every player in the village. Some players would have theirs be two or three tiles wide in case a new player needed a strip. This will never happen, but it could theoretically work. We could at least do it for the most important areas once we're big enough to have vast stockpiles of valuables lying around.

Like this, but with extra fences to prevent people from simply tresspassing two tiles on the northernmost claim and then going sideways -

Is there are way to let other people pass through unharmed? If so, you could just have different entrances claimed by someone really active, who will add new people.
