I wonder if getting vampire blood laced water lodged in your body transmits vampirism.
We obviously need to start doing some dwarven science, here. Violent, water-transmitted vampirism may be the funnest way to become a vampire to date.

Thats actually good.
You could throw vampire blood at companions, and then swim across the river!
(except for the fact that they would be hostile to you)

Would someone be able to draw this?

"Sounds like he pulled out a bit more than just water."

Nevermind beings being able to throw water with lethal effect, the idea that specific molecules from a thrown (wad?) Of water can be drawn out of a body is terrifying enough.
Waterbending, waterbending everywhere.

Oh boy it's another biggie.

I apologise for the corrupted colouration, but IMGUR seems bent on reducing the image quality despite it being well-under the maximum file size of 1Mb.

I think infection rates are pretty randomized, anyway, so there's no telling really. Some fortress mode dwarves will last years with an infection and finally succumb, or it will magically disappear and they'll live to meet another fate. Others will be dead in a week tops.

Trying to picture what bogeymen look like. One of a diverse group that I encountered lately was described as an eyeless emaciated humanoid with cracked grey skin. Sounds pretty horrible.

Giger, Poe and Lovecraft would be proud.

I... I, like Corai, am going to curl into a ball and never go to sleep ever again.

That's when they get you, when you're sleeping.

Meh, I've come up with creepier things to toss into my own nightmares.

No, really, that thing is terrifying. Great artwork, but terrifying.

What makes it better is knowing that thing would be roughly child-sized and hurling viscious insults!
