I was trawling legends mode on a new world just now, looking for any legendary crocodile men, actually, when I stumbled upon an elven animal caretaker. Doesn't sound particularly exciting, right?
Well, his wife was killed in the on-going war between the elves and the goblins. Legends mode doesn't describe just how pissed he was, but we can imagine. A year or two later he leaves his home, travels deep into goblin lands and attacks one, tearing off a couple of limbs and ripping out his tongue (!!!) before finishing him off.
After that he became an adventurer and started hunting forgotten beasts... Sadly this was just before worldgen ended, so we'll never know just how badass he would have been... Except! I plan to track him down and use some utility or other to posess him, and then draw his ensuing adventures.
The only problem is finding him... Oh, and did I mention his name is SPARKLEPADDLE?! How badass is that?!

I had to run like fun when I saw the dragon.

Not because it was going to kill me, but because one of my companions had managed to shoot it in the throat and it was bleeding out. I managed to hit it in the leg just before it died of asphyxiation.

I think this was a case of "you touched it last therefore it's your kill" as the dragon turned up on my kill list and not my companion's.

And my companions perished on the road back home, courtesy of a kobold ambush. So I guess no one can prove it wasn't me who slew the dragon, eh?
