I think I was in that game, or at least another game with that role.  You failed to mention the two drawbacks of that role - firstly that it can only kill once, and secondly that it can't vote.  That's why we got him .

lol.  I'm glad.  But I'm surprised you pulled it off at that point.  It's easier in games with just one scum.

In any case.  The game was not broken.  Just very swingy.  What was the setup?

I'm basically ok-ish at town and awful at scum.  On the plus side, acting as scummy as fuck as scum makes it easy to tell when I'm town .

The reverse here it seems.  When I'm scum people trust me unless power roles ruin my day.  When I'm town I always get at least someone who "Knows I'm scum" and tries to get me killed.  Even when I convince them, they still go "well, you're insanely scummy, but.." At one point, I had two people spend over 10 minutes spamming the chat with "lynch Dakarian!", "he's scum!" "why is he still alive?" and what not.

Hmm... do you think the irc style is more favourable to the town or the scum?  The town get less discussion time, but the scum have less time to make up falseclaims, which can be hard in a randomly setup game.
