Then do this stuff.

Keep in mind that some stuff can only be researched from specific items. Like zombie brains. Hint hint.

So... my redstone pulse circuit burned out, and I can't restore the circuit; torches burn out instantly when replaced.

Any way to fix this mess, or do I have to wait for the eventual 1.2.4 redstone burnout fix?

screenshot? or just install redpower and use the logic blocks such as the timer or pulse former.

But I just cannot get myself to downgrade to 1.2.3!

Why did you upgrade anyway? Most mods aren't ready for 1.2.4 and there isn't much new in the version.

Becaue I Always uppgrade to the new version.
Besides.. How else am I going to connect to the Planehacked server?

You could maintain two folders. One with 1.2.4 and one with 1.2.3.

 Or use a launcher that can switch between .jars. And mods.

Well I tend to delete the files when new versions are out.

I don't even have minecraft.exe on this computer, I use the vanilla option in the Technic launcher

Like many other mod authors I've decided to skip 1.2.4 and wait for 1.2.5. Upside is that the 1.2.5 update will be full of extra deliciousness.

Some time next week, and then they'll announce minecraft 1.2.6 which corrects a typo in one of the random splashes and requires all the MCP work to be done again.
