Is there a way to use ComputerCraft to make a piston door? I cannot find a foreseeable way to do so, since the piston must be constantly powered to be closed, and power must be cut to open them. Any way that is possible?

What? You can't toggle the redstone signal with computer craft? (Haven't tried it yet)

I thought it turned the redstone off if you turned it off. I might just put the computer on the inside of the door, and have it lock from there.

Well can't you just make an AND gate or inverse a signal?

Making a redstone current in code is
rs.setOutput("side", true )
True can be made into false and side is witch direction to output, such as "Left" or "Back".

So, playing technic pack lately, I decided to set up a nice fully automated system to create the components for solar panels. It created enough coal dust, glass, circuits, furnaces, batteries, and machine blocks. Though final assembly is manual, due to different rates of creation and alternative uses for the unassembled parts. All creation is resource free due to EE creating the low level base components, and I've been using the EE flowers for most or all necessary components like glass fiber cables. I can produce about 1 stack of solar panels every other minecraft day with the output materials.

At this point I have a large enough solar setup to run a glass fiber cable at full power (512EU/t) day and night with the help of an MFSU to store it during the day. :D

Is there a bug with snow golems? My sister just got the game, and I was trying to show her some of the random fun things to do. When it was actually built however, it turned red as if it were suffocating and died.

I have seen rain kill them. Perhaps a bug causes snow to do so as well.

I've automated it fully: you'll need to throw in the mix the logistic pipes submod; you'll gain on demand production but lose alternative recipes for smelters (meaning you'll need a macerator/furnace pair for every ore)

quite fun, entertaining and you can batch queues (like, get me 10 panels and make me a sandwich on the way!) and the pipes will dump out the exact missing materials, if any.

has the memory thingy been fixed in the most recent technic pack?
I couldnt play it for 5 mins without it crashing from well over 1 gig of memory being used.
it'd run smoothly until 3 mins in, then lag like fuck. after about 5 mins, it's say MC ran out of memory.
It was fixed recently I believe.
