What you need to do is make a tiange of repeaters like so

so by the time one of the repeater signals stops, another starts, and so on. This will extend signals for a longer amount of time.

Yes it will.

It makes the signal last longer, which means the piston will be activated for a longer amount of time.

While playing on the Yogsbox, I got a dupe creeper (Makes a few fake clones of itself), and they attacked my kingdom. My warriors and archers were fighting, my priests and mages on the walls, but the f**king ogres just came over and destroyed everything. Doesn't help that a Lightning creeper had exploded, and zapped several other creepers, including a Magma one...Much lulz were to be had when a sudden 8x8 explosion of lava and...Well, explosions hit me. Fun times!

So I was making some redstone stuff, okay? It's highly top secret so I can't go into much detail.
Anyway I was just placing that wiring, yeah? Then.. I put another redstone torch. Then I ran out of redstone dust!!!! So I had to go all the way back to the chest about 5 meters away to get more dust.
I love redstone. Redstone redstone redstone.
